Just some odds and ends.
Petra is totally obsessed with babies right now. She does not seem to realize that she is pretty much a baby. The other day, she stroked Arthur’s cheek and said, “Awwww. Sweet baby!” He is a week older than she is.
Petra’s vocabulary is growing by leaps and bounds. She says “peess” (please) and “tanks” (thanks) with minimal prompting. She helps set the table.
It’s not all sunshine and manners. Other prominent words in her vocabulary are “STOPIT” and “MINE.” She learned these from her big brother…
Petra surprised me the other day by pointing to the brand label on the side of the air conditioner unit and saying “Letters.”
She desperately, desperately wants to understand how to ride a tricycle.
